About Us

Hello!  We would like to take just a few minutes to introduce ourselves to you.

We are Grant and Hope Staples and are blessed with three wonderful children, Chase, Brooke and Brett.  Born and raised in Laurel, Mississippi, we now have the wonderful privilege of being able to live, work and worship in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

Grant is a Speech Professor at Holmes Community College in Ridgeland and enjoys the interaction with the students and the camaraderie between his colleagues.  For the past 15 years, he has been involved in worship and music ministry for the Lord.

Hope is the In-School Detention Coordinator at Ridgeland High School.  She enjoys interacting with students and sharing her faith whenever possible.  She has such a heart for missions and loving on “the least of these.”  For the past 7 years, she has been involved in youth, missions, children’s and women’s ministry.

Chase is a senior and is involved in many school, church and extracurricular activities.  He has served on mission to Honduras, Central America for 2 years and has served and assisted with VBS, music, and children’s ministry.  He has also been very involved with helping in times of disaster with the American Red Cross.

Brooke is a sophomore and has a contagious smile and a wonderful love of life.  She is very creative in drama, writing, painting and drawing and has used these talents to serve in the areas of VBS and children’s ministry.  She is also very active with school, extracurricular and church activities.

Brett is in the 6th grade and loves the Lord with all his heart.  He has such compassion for people who are outcast or just down and out.  He is a hard worker and has spent much time helping and assisting with set-up, take-down and preparation for services and such.  He is VERY active and loves the game of baseball as well as being outdoors.

We all love the Lord and want to be obedient to His will for our lives.  We have compassion for the “lost,” the disadvantaged, the broken hearted and the outcast.  We take seriously the command of the Lord, “to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.” (Matt. 28:19)  We want people to see Jesus through our love for them and our actions towards them.  We desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus!

WOW!! What a fabulous update, my dear, dear friend! People are going to be so radically touched by the contagious Spirit of Christ obviously manifested through you two. I am thinking of you so often, and am praying for those life-changing “Divine Appointments” by the thousands! God is sending them to me…especially in the skin of wounded spouses (isn’t it always amazing how He allows US to be broken so He can then use us for those coming behind us??!!). Will be on the lookout for MORE testimony of God’s workings in & through YOUR lives!!! Love ya lots!!! Alisa
