Beliefs
The Bible - We believe the Bible is the inerrant, inspired, living and authoritative Word of God (Rom. 16:25-26; II Pet. 1:20-21; II Tim. 3:16-17).
The Trinity - We believe that there is one true God that exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (I John 5:7-8; Matt. 28:19).
Jesus – We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son, conceived and born of a virgin and lived a sinless life while He walked the earth. He offered Himself as a sacrifice, through the shedding of His blood on the cross, which obtained for ALL, eternal redemption, forgiveness of sins and life everlasting. His body was raised on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father where He intercedes on behalf of all saints (Luke 1:26-28; Heb. 10:19-21; John 1:1-18; I Cor. 15:1-28; I Pet. 2:21-25; Isa. 7:14).
Salvation -We believe that salvation is received by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned by works or good deeds (Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:3-7; Rom. 10:9-10).
Holy Spirit - We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in the heart of every believer to impart the character of Christ. The Spirit comes upon God’s people in power to equip them for ministry and we believe His gift’s are available to believer’s today. (Rom. 8; Acts 2:38-39; John 16:13-15; 1 Cor. 12:1-13)
Baptism of the Holy Spirit – We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers. Evidences of this experience may be speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance and/or prophesying (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 8:14-17; Acts 10:44-47; Acts 11:15-17; Acts 19:1-7; Matthew 3:11).
Lord’s Supper – We believe in the Covenant of the Lord’s Supper, a meal in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice and a celebration of our unity with Jesus and one another as believers (Matt. 26:26-29; Luke 22:19-20; I Cor. 10:16).
Water Baptism – We believe that water baptism is for all believers and takes place after salvation (Acts 19:1-5). It is a public declaration and testimony of our relationship with Jesus and our acknowledgement of His death, burial and resurrection (Rom. 10:9-10; Rom. 6:3-6).
Second Coming of Christ – We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to earth to gather all His Saints and to establish His kingdom. We believe in literal heaven and life everlasting for all who truly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (Matt. 24:30-31; Acts 1:11; I Thess. 4:16-17).
